• User-Generated Content: We securely store the data you input into the Service, including case notes, client details, schedules, and uploaded legal documents.
• Device and Usage Data: We automatically collect standard diagnostic data, device identifiers, IP addresses, operating system versions, and usage patterns to ensure app stability, optimize performance, and detect security threats.
• Device Camera and Storage: To utilize our Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and document scanning features, the Service requires access to your device's camera and photo library. Images captured are processed solely for text extraction and are not stored permanently on our servers unless explicitly saved by you as a case note.

2. AI Processing

Our Service utilizes artificial intelligence (AI) features to enhance workflow and productivity.

• Processing of Inputs: Your queries, case notes, and documents may be processed by AI models to generate summaries, insights, or automated scheduling.
• No Training on Your Data (Opt-Out by Default): We strictly prohibit the use of your confidential User-Generated Content to train, fine-tune, or directly improve our foundational AI models or those of our third-party AI providers. Your sensitive data remains yours and is solely processed in a compartmentalized environment to provide the Service directly to you.
• Data Retention in AI: Any data processed by an AI component is ephemeral where possible or retained only as long as necessary to return the requested output, in compliance with industry-standard security protocols.

3. Data Security

Because the Service handles confidential legal information, we employ stringent, enterprise-grade security measures:

• Encryption: All data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.2+ protocols and at rest using AES-256 encryption.
• Access Controls: We utilize strict role-based access controls (RBAC), multi-factor authentication (MFA), and minimum-privilege policies. Muneebotix Labs personnel do not have access to your case content unless explicitly authorized by you for technical support.
• Breach Notification: In the event of a security breach that compromises your data, we will notify you without undue delay and provide instructions on mitigation, in compliance with applicable data protection laws.

4. Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your data. Information is only shared under strictly limited circumstances:

• Service Providers: We may share data with vetted, secure cloud hosting providers (e.g., Google Cloud / Firebase) and secure AI API providers (e.g., Google Gemini). These providers are contractually bound by rigorous Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) and confidentiality obligations that match or exceed our own.
• Legal Compliance: We will only disclose your information to law enforcement or government entities if compelled by a valid, legally binding subpoena, court order, or similar legal mandate. In such events, unless legally prohibited, we will attempt to notify you prior to disclosure so you may assert applicable privileges.

Account and Data Deletion Instructions

You have the right to request the complete deletion of your account and all associated personal data.

How to request deletion:

In-App: Open the AI Lawyers Diary app, navigate to Settings > Profile, and tap "Delete Account".

Via Email: Send an email to muneebotixlabs.support@gmail.com from the email address associated with your account. Use the subject line "Account Deletion Request".

What data is deleted:

Upon request, we will permanently delete your account credentials, profile information, case notes, and all uploaded legal documents (User-Generated Content) from our active Firebase databases within 30 days.

What data is kept (Retention):

We may retain anonymized usage data and financial transaction records (such as your Google Play/RevenueCat subscription receipts) strictly for tax, legal, and auditing purposes. This retained data cannot be linked back to your personal identity.
